Will race against the top competitors with a team balanced with experienced international competitors alongside a number of competitors from youth ranks with a few international racing experience. Placed 3rd in 2016, Sanyo Cup. An exciting race will follow this year too.

The competition was well organized and we as a team were looked after with great care by the Japanese Lifesaving Association and the community of Mizazaki. COMMENT
I joined as a Nipper at the age of 9 years old and havent looked back. I love and respect the ocean and enjoy the competitiveness as well as the comradery of the competitions. Lifesaving is part of my life and keeps me fit and healthy.In South Africa we call the connection with others "ubuntu" so I am looking forward to meeting the Japanese teams and learning from them about their country and culture.
